Full Stack·iOS·AI Engineer
Hi, I'm Onur. Welcome to my website! I love building products, and I build them end to end: mobile, web, desktop, and the cloud behind all of it. Native apps, full stack platforms, AI that ships. Have a look around, and feel free to reach out.
About
I work as an AI engineer, a full stack engineer and an iOS engineer, and I move between the three by preference rather than necessity. Native or web, front end or back end, mobile or desktop or cloud, I'd rather own the whole thing than hand half of it over. I did my MSc in Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University, and most of what I know past that came from building things end to end and being the person on the hook when they have to actually work.
On Apple platforms I write Swift and SwiftUI with UIKit and AppKit where they still earn their place. MVVM for architecture, Swift Concurrency, SwiftData, Combine, and Core Data for structure, XCTest and XCUITest for coverage. I keep up with the platform as it moves, from what shipped a decade ago to what was announced this year, and use whichever fits. Native on iOS, native on macOS, Flutter when a project calls for one codebase.
On the web I build with TypeScript and React, Next.js, Astro, Tailwind, styled components and hand written CSS, with Node.js behind it. I've shipped in Python, Java, PHP, Dart, SQL and MATLAB when the problem asked for it, and I'm as comfortable in a database schema or a Selenium suite as I am in a component tree.
On the cloud side I lean serverless on AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Cognito and Amplify, all defined as code with CDK. Cost, security and observability are design constraints for me rather than things to fix later, and I design databases around the questions an application will really ask.
AI is part of how I build, across the whole process rather than as a feature bolted on at the end. I'm comfortable orchestrating agents, working with models that run on the device, and putting intelligence where it genuinely helps instead of where it's currently fashionable.
The specifics will keep changing: new platforms, new languages, new problems. I'd rather that than stand still. What doesn't change is that I like owning a feature from schema to the last pixel, and I care about things being authentic, cleanly structured, easily maintainable, cost-efficient, and performant, even while chasing novelty. Have a look through the projects and the studio, and if you're building something real, I'd be glad to talk.
